NoiseKen LSS-15AX A-1 - Lightning Surge Simulator

NoiseKen LSS-15AX A-1: The LSS-15AX series have been newly designed to completely satisfy and exceed the requirements in IEC 61000-4-5 standard. The simulators consist of a combination wave generator applying a 1.2/50 open-circuit voltage wave in a high impedance test piece and delivering an 8/20 short-circuit current wave in a low impedance test piece, CCITT telecom wave generator and associated coupling and decoupling circuits. (the contents depend on the model) With 15kV output capability, the simulators can also be use for evaluating the equipment under test in destructive mode testing.

NoiseKen FNS-2002 - Fast Transient Burst Simulator

NoiseKen FNS-2002: The most basic of basics in EMC test strategies: only an extensive test program from development, qualification to field test can ensure that your products are immune from Electrical Fast Transient/Burst (EFT/B). This is especially true since EFT/B events exist everywhere. In fact, in the scheme of international compliance, the Electrical Fast Transient/Burst immunity test is a must for almost all products. The EFT/B, such as switching transients originating from inductive load interruption, relay contact bounce, etc, are one of the main causes of equipment malfunctions, because they can occur anywhere, interfering with circuits primarily via mains and interconnection cables. EFT is characterized by fast rise times and short duration of pulses. Also significant is the fact that EFT comes in bursts with repetition rates exceeding 100kHz. In the real world, an EFT event is a series of pulses with changing amplitudes and repetition rates. For test purpose, the IEC61000-4-4 standard defines an idealized FET/B. The FNS-2002, with its valuable features and capabilities, will serve as a critical tool for anyone who wants to build quality products or needs to the IEC standard.

NoiseKen ESS-2000 / TC-815R - Computer-Controlled Electrostatic Discharge Simulator with Discharge Gun

NoiseKen ESS-2000 / TC-815R: Among the causes of equipment malfunction, problems caused by ESD (electrostatic discharge) are the most difficult events against which to incorporate protective measures, since the causal relation generally cannot be found easily. Air discharge testing, which is affected by numerous variable factors, is a widely adopted test method, since the actual ESD events in the field are air discharges. In the contact discharge method, the discharge current rises extremely quickly, approximately 1ns, independent of ESD charge voltage. In addition, the proportional relationship between the ESD charge voltages and current peaks can be obtained, allowing the engineer to define the ESD susceptibility of the equipment under test in terms of charge voltage. This simulator is designed to conduct both contact and air discharge testing.
